"Fail to Prepare and you can Prepare to Fail"
This is a pretty powerful phrase and it applies to everything in life. If you don't know where you are driving, you will get lost. If you don't put gas in your car, you won't get lost, but you also won't get anywhere or might be late. If you don't think about what you are going to eat ahead of time, you will get trapped!!!
When I have 6 client sessions in a row, I try to prepare the night before. This is not fool-proof, but it works 90% of the time. If I have time to make food, I do, otherwise I try to pick up some items that are easy to eat in between sessions.
Here is something I prepared one night for a long Friday morning. 6am-noon gets you done early for the weekend, but can be a killer if you don't have fuel for your body!
Chicken Salad with artichokes and Strawberries. I also keep almonds in my locker at work.
